Personal data I process

Praktijk Ben Rovers processes your personal data because you use my services and/or because you provide these data to me yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data I process:

– First and last name

– Date, place, and time of birth

– E-mail address

– Other personal data that you actively provide for example during a consultation or coaching process, during a workshop or course, in correspondence or by telephone

Special and/or sensitive personal data I process

My website and/or services do not intend to collect information about website visitors who are under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, I cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. I therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent. If you are convinced that I have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact me at info@benrovers.com and I will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis I process personal data

Practice Ben Rovers processes your personal data for the following purposes:

– Calling or emailing you as necessary to perform my services

Automated decision-making

Practice Ben Rovers does NOT make decisions based on automated processing about matters that (significantly) affect individuals. These decisions are made by computer programs or systems, without the presence of a human being.

How long I keep personal data

Practice Ben Rovers will not keep your personal data longer than strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data are collected. I use the following retention periods for the following (categories of) data:

  • Personal data > Retention period 7 years > Reasons: obligation of tax authorities and enabling the provision of services.
  • Newsletter subscribers data (name, email address) > Retention period 3 years > Reason: enabling mailings. These stop if someone unsubscribes (option via newsletter) or if someone has not opened the mailings for 3 years.
  • Personal data > Retention period 3 years > Reason: to enable the provision of services. Data will be deleted if someone is no longer in contact with the practice (as a coachee, client, visitor, participant or newsletter recipient) after 3 years.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Practice Ben Rovers only provides third parties and only when necessary for the execution of my agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

This means that you can submit a request to me to send the personal data I have of you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, I ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. I will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
